Shop Manager (Meanwood)
Are you a driven, experienced Retail Manager looking for a fast paced new challenge where you can build a successful shop, make a real difference to your local community and champion sustainable retail?
St Gemma’s Hospice is recruiting a Shop Manager to lead our large, busy Meanwood charity shop. This is a fast paced, hands on role managing a team of paid staff and volunteers, driving sales and creating an inspiring shopping experience from ever changing donated stock. No two days are the same and every day helps fund vital hospice care across Leeds.
You’ll have the freedom to use your retail expertise to maximise performance, be creative with merchandising, and build a motivated, customer focused team, all while championing the sustainability of second hand shopping. It’s challenging, dynamic and hugely rewarding.
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has retail management experience
* Is commercially focused and target driven, excited by the challenge of driving strong sales and maximising Gift Aid income
* Is confident leading and developing teams of staff and volunteers
* Energised by a fast paced, hands on and constantly changing retail environment
* Is passionate about making a positive impact in their community
Charity retail and volunteer management experience is welcome but not essential. Strong leadership, initiative and enthusiasm matter the most.
What we offer:
* A supportive, friendly retail leadership team
* The chance to build a meaningful retail career in the charity sector
* Competitive benefits and generous annual leave
* Ongoing training and development
Join us and turn your retail skills into something truly meaningful. Apply now to lead one of our flagship stores and help support local hospice care.
