Overview
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer needed in Ledbury, Salary: £48,000 – £53,000 per year, Job Type: Full-time, Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts (days, nights and weekends), immediate start available for the right candidate following successful interview process.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide reactive breakdown support and deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM/TPM)
* Fault-find and maintain electrical, mechanical and PLC-controlled machinery
* Support site services including pneumatics, water and steam systems
* Work closely with production teams during peak seasonal operations
* Accurately complete maintenance documentation and reporting via SAP
* Contribute to risk assessments, continuous improvement initiatives and site projects
* Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and product quality
* Assist with engineering upgrades, installations and improvement works
Skills & Requirements
* Time-served or qualified Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
* Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong fault-finding ability
* Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Strong team player with good communication skills
* Computer literate (SAP experience advantageous)
* IOSH or safety training desirable
Education & Experience
* A-Level or equivalent qualification (essential)
* NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (minimum requirement)
* PLC fault-finding experience desirable
* Ideally 3 years’ experience within manufacturing, FMCG or food/beverage production
* Experience working rotating 12-hour shift patterns
