Overview
Assistant Year Manager Grade 5, SCP 18-23 £31,537 - £34,434 36 hours 40 minutes per week / Term time only plus 1 day, actual pro rata salary (£26,543 - £29,799) plus an allowance of £2,200 per annum for duties. We are looking for an experienced individual who can offer high quality support to our Achievement and Access Team. As an Assistant Year Manager, you will confidently support the Year Managers to enable a culture of personal excellence across all student year groups. We wish to appoint an innovative and enthusiastic individual who has the passion and ability to support student behaviour and achievement. You must have the ability to deputise in the event of a Year Manager absence and deal confidently with staff, students, parents and outside agencies. A calm disposition, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills are essential for the role. You must have English and Maths G.C.S.E. (Grade 4 or above or equivalent).
Responsibilities
* raise aspirations and enable students to achieve their full potential;
* work closely with students and their parents/carers;
* co-ordinate the work of a team of Personal Learning Guides;
* lead assemblies;
* positively reinforce good behaviour and ensure students have a voice in all aspects of school life.

Location and travel
This position will be based at The Radclyffe School but may from time to time require travel to collaborate with other locally based schools.
