Provide hands-on leadership in resolving complex design challenges on both small-scale and major developments. Lead and inspire the MEP team, ensuring team leaders are empowered, accountable, and supported in their professional growth. Drive innovation by encouraging exploration of new technologies, sectors, and client opportunities. Oversee financial forecasting, resource planning, and project performance monitoring. Act as a key client liaison, nurturing relationships and contributing to business development initiatives. Champion best practices in design and project delivery, embedding continuous improvement across the team. Play a central role in bid preparation and technical leadership for new business opportunities. What you'll need to succeed Essential: A degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. Chartered Engineer status (CEng). A minimum of 10 years' experience in building services design and project delivery. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and motivate multidisciplinary teams. Strong client-facing experience and a track record of delivering high-quality engineering solutions. Excellent commercial awareness and project management capabilities. Desirable: Experience working across a variety of sectors, including healthcare, education, and commercial developments. A passion for sustainable design and innovation in building services engineering.
