Hardwick Green Primary Academy is seeking to appoint an experienced Level Teaching Assistant (Level 3) to join our ambitious and committed team.
In September 2025, Hardwick Green opened a brand-new SEND Unit for 16 primary-age children with complex Communication & Interaction / Cognition & Learning needs. The SEND Unit is a joint venture with Stockton-on-Tees Local Authority, and access to the Unit will be through the Local Authority. This role is to support teaching and learning and to provide care of pupils one of the two classes in the new Unit.
Role and Responsibilities
* Support teaching and learning and provide care for pupils in one of the two classes in the SEND Unit.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Qualified Teaching Assistant (Level 3 or above).
* Experienced Teaching Assistant with recent, relevant experience of working with children with complex SEND; demonstrates compassion, resilience and patience in their care for children with SEND.
* Holds every child and their family in the highest possible regard and leads by example with high expectations of what every child can achieve.
