Job Title: Exam Invigilator

Salary: £11.50 – £13.50 per hour (equivalent day rates available depending on session length)

We are proud to be working with a large number of Secondary Schools across South Manchester. We are actively recruiting Exam Invigilators to support our partner schools with reliable, consistent exam staffing.
Our Exam Invigilators play a vital role in safeguarding the integrity of the assessment process across mock and formal exam seasons. The role does not require lesson planning or marking; however, punctuality, professionalism, and clear communication are essential.
The successful Exam Invigilator will:
Set up exam rooms in line with JCQ and school regulations.
Supervise candidates during exams, ensuring all rules are followed.
Distribute and collect exam papers and materials securely.
Complete attendance records, timekeeping and incident reports accurately.
Identify and report any irregularities to the Exams Officer without delay.
Maintain confidentiality at all times.
We’re looking for someone who:
Holds CACHE Level 2/3 or has 6+ months of relevant experience (e.g., education, supervision, customer service, or compliance-focused roles).
Can confidently manage a room of students aged 11–16+ and uphold exam conditions.
Has excellent attention to detail and can follow written procedures precisely.
Is flexible to work across departments and year groups, including mornings and afternoons.
Is available during peak seasons (e.g., May–June, November–January) and for mock exams.
