Due to an exciting expansion, we are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to manage and grow HVAC-related accounts across a defined region. This is a customer-facing, field-based role focused on relationship building, technical consultation, and revenue growth. The role will be to cover the Kent, Essex, Surrey and Hampshire region.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying new opportunities.
* Build strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and distributors.
* Provide technical advice and propose the right solutions for customer needs.
* Deliver presentations, training sessions, and attend trade events.
* Negotiate pricing and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
* Maintain accurate CRM records and produce regular sales reports.
* Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
* Ensure high levels of customer service and resolve any issues effectively.
* Spend a minimum of 3 days per week visiting customers in the region.
Skills:
* Proven sales experience in HVAC / Building services / Technical Sales.
* Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and applications.
* Familiarity with reading technical drawings/specs.
* Experience managing regional sales and hitting targets.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
* Strong communicator and skilled negotiator.
* Highly organised, self-motivated, and customer focused.
* Able to work independently and as part of a wider team.
* Willingness to travel regionally.
