Responsibilities
* Provide visible, supportive leadership within both the community midwifery service and the community maternity unit.
* Oversee safe and effective day‑to‑day service delivery, including workforce coordination and clinical governance.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues to enhance service quality and user experience.
* Promote a positive team culture, supporting reflective practice, clinical development and staff wellbeing.
* Contribute to improvement activity aligned with NHS Grampian priorities and national maternity service standards.
Qualifications
* Demonstrable clinical expertise and sound decision‑making skills.
* Experience supporting colleagues or undertaking leadership responsibilities.
* A commitment to compassionate leadership, service improvement and person‑centred care.
* The ability to work flexibly across both community and birth‑unit settings.
