Job Purpose

Are you ready to take on a high-profile role at the heart of our most ambitious transformation? We’re looking for a strategic thinker with strong programme oversight to translate big-picture business objectives into a powerful, integrated plan for our networks.

This a unique opportunity to lead the alignment of capital and operational investment across multiple high-value programmes-ensuring we deliver maximum impact where it matters most. You’ll work across the wastewater network and county-level planning, shaping integrated asset strategies that support long-term resilience, efficiency, and value our customers and communities.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities
* Lead the development and delivery of annual programmes focused on priority areas-balancing customer, business, Health & Safety and ODI outcomes.
* Translate high-level strategy into actionable regional plans, guiding area teams to produce consistent, integrated asset plans.
* Oversee and prioritise high-value projects and investment programmes in line with regulatory expectations and company objectives.
* Collaborate with Asset Managers to incorporate external stakeholder requirements (e.g. Local Authorities, Environment Agency) into the integrated business plan.
* Allocate budgets and set financial targets for area teams to ensure efficient and timely delivery of the IBP.
* Monitor and report on programme performance and spend monthly, adapting plans we needed to drive continuous improvement.
* Ensure support systems-including asset data, performance monitoring, and financial controls-are fit for purpose and evolve alongside the IBP.
Technical Skills & Experience
* Significant experience in leading complex programmes or large-scale projects.
* Demonstrable experience in leading business planning functions.
* Strong knowledge of working in a regulated, customer-focused environment.
* Strong leadership with the ability to influence at senior and board level.
* Proven stakeholder management across all business levels.
* Resilient and calm under pressure, with a focus on strategic delivery.
