You will have the flexibility to work from different locations (when appropriate); choosing the right location to suit the activity that you need to do, around Northern Ireland, the great outdoors or your home.As a member of the Northern Ireland Consultancy, you’ll be working alongside colleagues who are committed to achieving the National Trust’s ambitions across the region. You'll be part of the organisation’s Project and Programme Management community, led by our central team with an ambition to establish a culture of excellence in project delivery across the National Trust.As the CMAP Project Officer, you will work with the CMAP Manager on the National Trust deliverables, with specific responsibility for the mapping and monitoring of blue carbon (mainly saltmarsh) habitats and developing restoration actions and future management plans, working with local communities, the public and other stakeholders.You will support the co-ordination of partners accessing our sites to collect coastal data, as well as public citizen science activities. Working with the Project Manager and the National Trust’s Coastal Adviser, you will support overall project delivery and expenditure, risk and compliance as well as project reporting in line with internal processes and SEUPB funder requirements. Critical to this role will be your communication, collaboration and engagement skills, to build relationships with the coastal communities, stakeholders, National Trust teams and partners across the Island of Ireland.As you will be working with the public it is helpful if you can be flexible with your time as they may wish to meet in the evening or on weekends.
