Sales Engineer Needed in Manchester
Location: Trafford Park, Manchester
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 44 hours per week
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 DOEOur client, a highly respected and long-established bodybuilder manufacturer, is looking to recruit a Sales Engineer to join their growing team at their Manchester-based facility. Key Responsibilities of the Sales Engineer:
Create and manage sales quotes for customers and internal sales teams
Liaise with suppliers for up-to-date costings and maintain quote accuracy
Generate order acknowledgements and track quote conversions
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure specifications are clear
Maintain accurate build documentation and parts lists
Act as a point of contact for customer queries on technical specifications
Contribute to continuous improvement and departmental efficiencyWhat We’re Looking For:
Previous experience as a Sales Engineer within a manufacturing or automotive environment
Ability to interpret and translate sales orders into factory-ready formats
Proficient in Microsoft Office and quoting/documentation systems
Strong communication and organisational skills
Proactive mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement
