A fast-growing accountancy and advisory firm with offices in Manchester are looking to appoint an experienced Tax Manager to further develop and support their growing team, paying £57,000 - £67,000 DOE.

Responsibilities
* Managing a varied portfolio of larger and more complex tax clients, delivering high-quality compliance and advisory support
* Providing tax planning advice to business owners across areas such as acquisitions and disposals, business restructuring, remuneration planning, inheritance tax and estate planning
* Supporting clients with corporation tax, personal tax, capital gains tax and wider tax matters
* Handling HMRC enquiries and investigations, including technical research, financial analysis and report writing
* Acting as a technical point of contact for both clients and internal stakeholders
* Supporting, mentoring and developing junior members of the tax team
* Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to add value through proactive advice
Your Attributes
* CTA / ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
* Strong experience gained within an accountancy practice tax environment
* Solid experience advising owner-managed businesses (OMBs) on a range of tax matters
* Comfortable working across both compliance and advisory projects
* Strong communicator who enjoys building relationships with clients and colleagues
* Proactive, commercially minded and keen to progress within a growing firm
* Exposure to VAT advisory work would be advantageous, but not essential
