Job Description
3. Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of building systems, adhering to all health and safety legislation, including fire and first aid regulations.
4. Develop and maintain planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and manage service agreements for hard and soft facilities services.
5. Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and manage building repairs efficiently.
6. Contribute to the company's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) objectives through energy management and sustainable third-party partnerships.
7. Maintain all policy and procedure documentation related to facilities and health & safety management.
8. Lead ad hoc projects such as refurbishments and office decoration.
9. Oversee efficient document management processes including mail handling, scanning, and printing services.
10. Provide management information for regulatory compliance and board reporting.
11. Continuously improve departmental processes and embody company values in all activities.
The Successful Applicant
12. Experience in facilities management with a solid understanding of office building systems and H&S regulations.
13. Relevant professional FM and/or health & safety qualifications are desirable, or a willingness to obtain them.
14. Strong commercial awareness combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
15. Analytical thinker with pragmatic problem-solving abilities and a strong focus on delivery and attention to detail.
16. Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
17. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
18. Demonstrates effective leadership and management skills, takes initiative, and challenges processes to improve efficiency.
