Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a warm and inclusive primary school in Blackpool, seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their KS1 team from September 2025 to cover maternity leave.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
2. Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
3. Track and support pupil progress through effective assessment
4. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support each child’s development
5. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning space
Requirements:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
* A passion for KS1 education and early child development
* Strong classroom management and a proactive teaching style
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are warmly encouraged to apply

Pay rates are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent later.
