The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a junior-level OTC Trader to support global trading operations across spot and options-based crypto products. This role offers hands‑on exposure to real‑time pricing, execution, and risk management in a highly quantitative environment. You’ll work closely with experienced traders, quants, and engineers while applying core derivatives knowledge to a rapidly evolving asset class.
The position can be based in London, Zug, or the United States, depending on eligibility and preference.
Key Responsibilities
* Price and execute OTC and options trades while responding to client requests in real time
* Assist senior traders with position monitoring, trade reconciliation, and portfolio oversight
* Support risk management by ensuring activity remains within defined limits
* Analyze market data, volatility surfaces, and option sensitivities to inform trading decisions
* Partner with quantitative and engineering teams to enhance trading tools and systems
* Monitor macroeconomic and digital asset market trends that influence trading strategies
What We’re Looking For
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative or finance‑focused discipline (e.g., Math, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Finance)
* Prior exposure to options or derivatives trading (internship or entry‑level desk experience acceptable)
* Solid grasp of options theory, including volatility, Greeks, and payoff structures
* Comfortable working with data and analytical tools such as Excel and Python
* Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to perform under time pressure
* Curious, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong interest in financial innovation and digital assets
