Practice Accountant - Description
As a Practice Accountant, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, managing day‑to‑day queries and ensuring all compliance and support work is completed efficiently.
Your role will involve client communication with a focus on compliance and support, including client onboarding, year‑end accounts, quarterly VAT returns, self‑assessment tax returns and CIS returns. You will also handle ad‑hoc client inquiries, manage workflow for junior team members, and perform general office duties as required.
Practice Accountant - Responsibilities
* Serve as the first point of contact for a portfolio of clients.
* Manage client onboarding and communication.
* Prepare and file year‑end accounts and quarterly VAT returns.
* Handle self‑assessment tax returns.
* Process CIS returns and address ad‑hoc client inquiries.
* Oversee workflow for junior team members.
* Perform general office duties as needed.
