The Role We are seeking an experienced and strategic Commercial Director to lead the commercial function and drive sustained revenue growth. This individual will work closely with the executive leadership team to shape the commercial vision, expand customer relationships, and capitalise on emerging market opportunities. Key Objectives Design and implement commercial strategies aligned with company goals. Identify new revenue streams and develop growth initiatives across product channels. Lead high-value deal negotiations with retailers, trade partners, and distributors. Oversee pricing, profitability analysis, and margin optimisation strategies. Monitor competitive landscape and market trends to influence strategic direction. Report directly to the Group CEO on commercial performance and future outlook. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing commercial team across sales, key accounts, and business development. Drive cross-functional alignment with operations, finance, and supply chain to ensure commercial success. Develop and enforce robust commercial policies including pricing, terms, and customer engagement protocols. Represent the business at industry events and maintain senior-level relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Contribute to product and market development strategy alongside the innovation team. Ideal Candidate Profile Proven success in a Commercial Director or similar senior leadership role (10 years). Strong background in automotive, household, DIY, or manufacturing sectors. Commercially sharp with demonstrated ability to close complex, high-value deals.
