Teaching Personnel is seeking a caring, patient, and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs at a supportive secondary school in Folkestone. The Role:
As an SEN TA, you will work closely with teachers and the SENDCo to:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with a range of needs including autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
* Help deliver tailored interventions to support academic, social, and emotional progress.
* Assist in adapting classroom materials to suit individual learning needs.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with students and act as a positive role model.
* Support with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies.

Requirements:
* Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (in school, care, or youth settings).
* A genuine passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach.
* A DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Teaching Personnel).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
