Overview
A major UK insurance broker is seeking a Branch Director to lead a significant, high-profile branch in the Midlands, overseeing a multi-million pound book of corporate, mid-market and specialty clients. This senior leadership role carries full P&L responsibility, with autonomy to shape and grow the branch. You’ll oversee sales, service and operations while maintaining your own client portfolio, and you’ll build a high-performing team within a fast-growing, forward-thinking business.
Responsibilities
* Full accountability for the branch’s financial and operational performance
* Lead and manage sales, client service and operational teams
* Retain and develop a portfolio of key client relationships
* Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers and the wider market
* Recruit, coach and develop team members to deliver growth and high service standards
* Align local strategy with wider group goals, contributing to regional and national initiatives
Qualifications
* A leader, perhaps already operating at this level, or in a senior sales, account executive or operational role, with the confidence to step up to Branch Director.
* Driven, ambitious, with the commerciality and talent to take on one of the largest Branch Director roles in the region’s commercial broking market.
* Midlands-based and commuting to offices in Birmingham, Leicester and surrounding areas.
