As a Production Engineer, you'll support manufacturing operations for high-profile projects, contributing to real-world impact. Key Responsibilities Perform component-level fault-finding to diagnose production and performance issues. Collaborate with manufacturing and supply teams to resolve technical issues. Investigate, document, and report faults on products while driving improvements to eliminate recurring issues. Assist with the creation of balanced production lines, with flexibility to adapt to changing requirements. Write and update clear, concise work instructions (SOPs) for operations. Create and update configuration control documents and manufacturing standard times. Write, review, and complete process FMEA, control plans, and risk assessments. Analyse designs to ensure they meet DFM/DFA criteria and manage the NPI process. Drive change management processes and product improvements. Support sales with customer and project bid data preparation. Foster a culture of continuous improvement. Skills & Experience Degree or equivalent qualification in Electronics, Manufacturing, or Engineering. Extensive experience in electronics test and manufacturing engineering. Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing philosophies (DFM/DFA). Experience in electrical and mechanical assembly, manufacturing, and test processes. Strong analytical skills and fault-finding expertise, particularly in electronics down to component level. Knowledge of RF test techniques, high voltage electronics, and encapsulation is beneficial. Experience in problem-solving methodologies (8D, A3, Root Cause Analysis). Proficiency with ERP/SAP systems and understanding of SPC data is preferable. Practical experience in applying CI, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and quality tools is ideal.
