Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated person with physiotherapy or occupational therapy assistant experience who wishes to progress their skills. The role requires good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team. You will assist with developments such as the day case total hip arthroplasty pathway, progressing patients post-surgery to facilitate timely discharge and optimise onward recovery. Non-clinical duties include cleaning/maintenance of therapy equipment and treatment areas, and pre-op telephone triage. You will be supported to develop your clinical skills via supervision and appraisal. There is a requirement to support weekend and extended day services (8am–8pm). Part-time/compressed hours considered.
