Chef Manager - Term-Time Only
Location: Ilford
Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 per annum (pro rata, depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:00
Working Pattern: Term-time only (42 weeks per year, including inset days)

Your key responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of catering staff, ensuring smooth daily operations
* Prepare and serve fresh, nutritious meals for students and staff
* Maintain full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and allergen regulations
* Plan and develop creative, balanced menus
* Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
* Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure a seamless catering service

* Previous experience as a Chef Manager within a school or similar environment
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* A passion for providing healthy, high-quality food for young people
* Relevant Food Hygiene and Allergen Awareness qualifications
* Confident in managing compliance, health & safety, and team performance
