Science Teacher – Secondary Schools (Brixton & Wandsworth) Location: Brixton and Wandsworth Contract: Full-time / Long-term (with potential for permanent placement) Pay: In line with teacher pay scale (MPS/UPS) Start Date: As soon as possible About the Role Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with two welcoming and high-achieving secondary schools in Brixton and Wandsworth, both seeking a passionate and motivated Science Teacher to join their teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire students and deliver engaging science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Applications are welcome from teachers wishing to be considered for one or both schools. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics. Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners. Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback. Contribute to the wider life of the school and departmental improvement. Create a positive learning environment that supports achievement and curiosity. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Science at secondary level (KS3–KS4). Strong subject knowledge and passion for science education. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel). Excellent communication and classroom management skills. What Teaching Personnel Offers: Pay to scale, paid weekly via PAYE.
