About the Role
As Technical Delivery Team Leader at ASK4, you'll own the end-to-end quality of network commissioning activity from access point configuration and switch setup through to formal site sign-off. You'll lead a team of Project Delivery Engineers, acting as their primary technical escalation point while supporting their development and growth. Your work ensures that every site is configured to the right standard before it reaches our customers, making a tangible difference to the experience of thousands of end users.
What You'll Be Doing
* Overseeing all network commissioning activity, including AP configuration, VLAN assignment, and CLI-based provisioning
* Owning pre-handover technical sign-off, ensuring sites meet acceptance criteria before transitioning to Servicing
* Acting as the go-to technical escalation point for complex configuration issues and site-specific decisions
* Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of Project Delivery Engineers through day-to-day guidance and structured development plans
* Creating and maintaining technical runbooks, commissioning guides, and configuration standards
* Coordinating with delivery partners, field engineers, and subcontractors to keep projects on track
* Managing risk and issues across the commissioning portfolio, using ASK4's frameworks to log, own, and resolve them
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, SOPs, and delivery guidelines
About You
You're a technically strong network professional with a genuine interest in leading and developing people.
You’ll bring:
* Demonstrable hands-on experience in network commissioning, including CLI configuration of switches and access points
* Solid working knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, switching protocols, and LAN/WAN technologies
* Experience configuring and troubleshooting wireless infrastructure, including AP deployment and RADIUS configuration
* A proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a technical team
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear technical documentation
* A methodical, structured approach to fault resolution and problem-solving
* Experience in a project delivery or field engineering environment
Experience working with delivery partners or subcontractors, and familiarity with risk management frameworks, would be a bonus though not essential.
