As a rapidly growing business committed to delivering high-quality service solutions, they are recruiting for a permanent Head of Sales.


Role Overview

The Head of Sales (HOS) is responsible for all aspects of sales and business development, including service delivery, relationship management, and business growth with designated customer accounts. The primary focus will be on developing sales in line with budgetary targets. Building and strengthening customer relationships to ensure continuity and reduce risk is of utmost importance. The HOS will also identify new opportunities with existing and potential customers through the sale of parts, ranging from minor corrective components to major equipment. Additionally, the HOS will develop best practices within the sales function, including the implementation of new capabilities such as CRM and other IT tools to support business growth.


Key Responsibilities

1. Develop sales revenue in accordance with budgetary requirements.
2. Identify and secure new business development opportunities.
3. Manage designated customer relationships to retain and grow contracts.
4. Manage cash flow and reduce overdue customer debts to within budget levels.
5. Gather market intelligence on competitors and pricing levels.
6. Promote continuous improvement within the sales team and processes.


Key Requirements

* Proven success in a technical sales environment.
* Educational background in engineering and/or renewable energy.
* Experience managing short and long sales cycles.
* Previous experience leading a team.
