* Safety & Operations: Drive/shunt rail vehicles within the test house and sidings (training provided) and maintain a "Safety First" ethos.
* Collaboration: Work closely with Lead Technicians and Engineers to investigate failures and provide detailed technical feedback.

About You

We are looking for someone who doesn't just follow a process but takes pride in the accuracy of their work. You should be a strong communicator who thrives in a cross-functional team environment.

Essential Requirements:

* Education: NVQ Level 3 in a relevant Engineering discipline.
* Experience: Proven background in testing and engineering (Experience in an Operational Railway Environment is a major plus).
* Technical Skills: Ability to interpret engineering drawings and test results; proficient in IT (SAP experience preferred).
* Mindset: A strong commitment to Health & Safety and Knowledge of ISO 9000 principles.
* Flexibility: Willingness to travel for off-site training and work across various areas of the facility, including the test track and sidings.

Note: This is a Safety Critical / Key Safety Post. Applicants must be able to hold relevant Track Safety competence.

Why our client?
