This role is key, giving you responsibility to create new product designs from concept through to production
Commutable from Birmingham, Redditch, Studley, Coventry, Bromsgrove, Earlswood, Solihull, Stratford Upon Avon, Kidderminster, Leamington Spa, Alcester, Evesham and Halesowen

RESPONSIBILITIES
8. Create new product designs from concept through to production
9. Conduct design changes to existing products
10. Attend NPI meetings
11. Working with a wide range of materials, such as plastic injection mould, castings and metals
12. This is a multi-dimensional role, with a range of projects on the go, at any one time
13. Working closely with customers and suppliers
14. Drive cost reduction projects
15. BOM and Part creation, drawing revision and Issues control
16. Familiar with computer simulation and modelling programs
17. If experienced, review Design Engineers work
REQUIREMENTS
18. Relevant Qualifications to support experience- ideally, to Degree level
19. It is essential that you have exposure to 3D & “D CAD, such as Solidworks or CATIA
20. Ideally, you will have gained your experience from within a manufacturing environment
21. Good knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
22. Knowledge of diecast, moulded, pressed or machined parts would be advantageous
23. This would suit a friendly, sociable character
24. To have the ability to work on a n umber of projects at any one time
25. Keen eye for detail
26. To have the ability build relationships
