The Role

We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join our in‑house service and aftercare team.

This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining existing window, door, and glazing installations — ensuring customers continue to receive the high standards of service Clyde Windows is known for.

You’ll be dealing with real problem‑solving, not rushed call‑outs or quota‑based work.


Key Responsibilities

* Diagnosing and repairing issues with windows, doors, locks, hinges, handles, and glazing
* Adjusting and realigning windows and doors for smooth operation
* Replacing or repairing hardware components as required
* Identifying faults and recommending appropriate solutions
* Carrying out warranty and aftercare visits
* Completing job reports accurately and professionally
* Maintaining a tidy, safe, and professional work environment
* Representing Clyde Windows positively in customers’ homes


What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience as a service engineer or installer within the window and door industry
* Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
* Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and manage your workload
* Excellent customer‑facing communication skills
* Full UK driving licence required
* CSCS card preferred (or willingness to obtain)
