Management Accountant - Leicester Full-Time | Permanent | £65,000 SF Recruitment are working with a thriving manufacturing company in their search for a Management Accountant - This is a permanent, office-based position offering a dynamic working environment within a fast-paced and expanding organisation. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, with responsibilities including: - Preparation of monthly management accounts - Reconciliation of control and balance sheet accounts - Accruals, prepayments, and general ledger maintenance - VAT returns and inventory control - Fixed asset register management - Journal preparation and posting - Support with statutory audit and month-end close - Delivery of ad-hoc and routine financial reports What Were Looking For: - Fully qualified accountant - Strong knowledge of both P&L and balance sheet accounting - Previous experience within import/export environments (advantageous) - Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to senior stakeholders - Analytical mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team - Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines - Proficient in Excel - Experience using Sage, Xero, and MS Dynamics 365 - Business Central (ERP) If youre a skilled and motivated accountant looking to take the next step in your career, wed love to hear from you
