Description:
To provide ongoing electrical installation delivery across the Culham site. The job holder (JH) will lead on a wide range of electrical work in an industrial environment covering installation, commissioning, fault-finding, maintenance and repair in accordance with current legislation and codes of practice.
Responsibilities:
1. Take responsibility for installation phase of projects ensuring Safe Systems of Work are followed, working to a plan, being flexible and keeping to timescales, including leading installation teams.
2. Install indoor and outdoor electrical distribution equipment in compliance with current regulations and local standards.
3. Undertake the construction, wiring and commissioning of electrical control cubicles.
4. Perform testing, commissioning and fault-finding tasks on various electrical control and distribution equipment.
5. Setting work, supervising and providing guidance and supervision to less experienced electricians and electrical apprentices.
