Job Title: Locum Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist – Community Teams Banding: Band 7 (Capped Rate) Location: Shrewsbury, Telford, and Oswestry Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3 months Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.5-hour shifts Vacancy Reference: Community Team SLT x1 Rate: Competitive, capped in line with Band 7 guidelines Job Overview Pulse is currently seeking an experienced and confident Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join community teams across Shrewsbury, Telford, and Oswestry. This locum role offers the opportunity to work across diverse community settings, supporting patients with complex communication and swallowing needs. Key Responsibilities Deliver speech and language therapy services in community environments Assess and manage patients with dysphagia and communication disorders Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional standards Travel between sites as required (car driver preferred) Requirements HCPC registration Proven dysphagia competence (essential) Enhanced DBS (required) Experience working in community settings Ability to work independently across multiple locations Car driver preferred due to travel between sites Why Pulse?
