A ‘Good’-rated 4-Form Entry primary school in Central Birmingham is looking for a full-time Graduate Teaching Assistant to support Year 6 pupils in the lead-up to their SATs. This is an ideal opportunity to build your skills and confidence in a supportive school environment.
About the role:
1. Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions focused on SATs preparation
2. Help pupils develop their literacy, numeracy, and test-taking skills
3. Support the class teacher with planning and adapting resources
4. Provide tailored support to help close learning gaps and build confidence
What we’re looking for:
5. A graduate with a strong interest in primary education
6. Ideally some experience working with children (in school, tutoring or mentoring)
7. Confident, reliable, and able to motivate and support pupils
8. Looking to begin a PGCE or teacher training programme in 2026
