Responsibilities
* Lead and grow a high‑performing engineering team
* Work closely with Business Development and Commercial teams to respond quickly and accurately to customer enquiries
* Take full technical ownership of key projects, from initial concept through to delivery and ongoing support
* Ensure drawings, BOMs, BOPs and documentation reach the shop floor with complete clarity and up‑to‑date revision control
* Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to define and maintain critical product quality characteristics
* Engage with suppliers to ensure they meet project and business needs
* Drive innovation across engineering and production processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and new technologies
* Support continuous improvement activities across the organisation
* Ensure risk assessments are in place for all engineering‑led processes
* Provide hands‑on technical support, gaining first‑hand understanding of processes and identifying improvements
* Coach, mentor and develop engineering team members to fulfil their potential
* Advocate for the business - both to prospective customers and future employees
* Be a respected leader who inspires confidence and fosters a positive, collaborative environment
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience working in either Automotive, Motorsport/F1 OR Composites
* Technical, hands‑on engineering background with sound commercial awareness
* Strong communication skills, approachable leadership style and a proactive mindset
* Methodical problem‑solving abilities with excellent attention to detail
