Indirect Procurement Manager - £70K hybrid working
£65,000 - £70,000 per annum + Corporate Benefits/hybrid working
Location: Basingstoke – hybrid working (3 days per week in office)

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Indirect Procurement Manager to join a newly formed, centralised, European Procurement team on a contract basis. This role will be responsible for managing selected indirect procurement categories, with a strong focus on General Services and Technical Consultancy. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional who is available for a 6‑month fixed‑term contract, thrives in a fast‑paced, international environment, and is confident managing sourcing activities end‑to‑end.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage assigned indirect procurement categories, with a primary focus on General Services.
* Lead sourcing activities from end to end, including supplier identification, RFQ/RFP management, negotiations, supplier selection, and contract finalisation.
* Ensure competitiveness, service quality, supply continuity, and contract compliance across assigned categories.
* Identify and deliver cost‑saving and value improvement opportunities.
* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitoring supplier performance and service levels.
* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective sourcing strategies.
* Support procurement planning, reporting, and spend visibility activities.
* Contribute to supplier rationalisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
* Strong background in indirect procurement.
* Experience managing sourcing processes independently.
* Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
* Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration abilities – ideally gained in a role with European geographic scope.
* Comfortable working with suppliers and stakeholders at multiple levels.
* Analytical, structured, pragmatic, and results‑oriented.
* Confident working with spend analysis and supplier proposals.
