Senior Support Worker – Goddards Care (Snaith, near Goole)
We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of Senior Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Goddards Care in Snaith, near Goole.
We are looking for full-time staff to work day roles around 36–40 hours per week. Shifts are a mix of 12 hours and half shifts. Typical shift times are 7:45am – 8pm.

Pay rates:
* £13.80 per hour
* +25p per hour weekends
* 1.5 x pay Bank Holidays

As a Senior Support Worker, you will:
* Lead and support our care team during shifts, ensuring high standards of person-centred care.
* Guide, mentor, and support colleagues, acting as a positive role model.
* Contribute to care planning and accurate record-keeping.
* Work directly with individuals with learning disabilities, supporting daily living, personal care, social activities, and community engagement.
* Promote independence, choice, and inclusion in every aspect of support.
* Uphold CQC standards and work closely with management to maintain a safe, well-led service.

What we look for in you:
* Must hold, or be working towards, a Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Support (or equivalent).
* Minimum 1 year's experience in care or support work.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* The ability to lead shifts with confidence.
* Compassion, patience, and the drive to make a difference to people with learning disabilities.
* A professional, reliable, and positive approach.
* Able to travel to Snaith (please consider transport limitations).
