About the Role
Staffline Recruitment Ireland is recruiting on behalf of a valued client for the position of Transport Manager
In this role, you will:
1. Lead and manage the Transport team to ensure smooth and effective operations
2. Manage a fleet of over 100 HGV vehicles ensuring compliance within industry regulations and safety standards
3. Collaborate closely with senior management to ensure efficiency of fleet
4. Utilise resources efficiently ensuring route optimisation
5. Review and approve payroll of drivers
6. Monitor and manage daily operational reports
7. Conduct investigations into accidents and incidents
This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with Transport Management experience who is looking for a new challenge and would like to join an established company in the Fermanagh area.
Key Requirements for the successful Transport Manager
8. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Transport management role, looking after a large fleet
9. Hold a CPC licence
10. Demonstrate excellent knowledge of transport legislation and compliance in UK and ROI
11. Ability to work on own initiative
12. Strong communication skills
13. Excellent IT skills
