Business Support Administrator NFU Mutual Central Lancashire Agency is recruiting for an experienced Administrator to join its growing team. This role will support the Agency’s delivery of excellent customer service by providing administrative duties that enable smooth running of the business. You do not need prior insurance experience as we will provide you with comprehensive training on all insurance products and any product licences needed for your role. What is more important to us is that you have the skills and attitude to provide outstanding admin support and service to our team. The successful candidate will need to: Ensure the efficient and professional delivery of the renewal despatch for the Agency Organise the accounts system including customer payments, credit management and debt collection Answer incoming telephone calls, greet visitors in the office and contact our customers to support the team Efficiently manage email inboxes and post Effective management of stock, literature and business stationery Perform various administrative tasks, including maintaining and organising insurance policies, client records, and other essential documents Work across the administration team, providing cover for absences and busy periods Perform administrative tasks to support the sales and claims team, including calling customers to chase information and documentation Be comfortable with deadlines and be flexible in a rapidly changing environment What we are looking for: Proven experience in an administration or customer service environment Excellent organisation, customer service and communication skills Attention to detail and accuracy Proactive and able to work under pressure to deliver results and meet deadlines The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality A high degree of personal initiative, responsibility and commitment GSCEs, including Maths and English at minimum grade C/equivalent and a working knowledge of MS Office systems Experience working in a regulated environment is desirable Our commitment to you: 33 days leave per year (25 days annual leave plus bank holidays) A comprehensive induction (on average around 3 months of e-learning and support to gain your first product licences, with further training ongoing as you grow in the role) Professional and supportive work environment Free parking Pension scheme and life insurance Employee Assistance Scheme, shopping discounts No requirements to work weekends, evenings or bank holidays About the Agency As a local agency of NFU Mutual we deliver a first-class service, selling the product range across our region, to existing and new customers, who are at the core of everything we do.
