What This Role Offers to Legal Experts Deliver expert professional advice in Property Law including regeneration, compulsory purchase orders, acquisitions, and public-private partnerships, with crossover into Planning law. Collaborate with senior stakeholders, from council leadership to government departments, shaping projects that materially impact community transformation. Work on complex, high-profile cases and contribute to governance, risk management, and legal compliance at the highest levels. Lead or assist in hearings, public inquiries, appeals, judicial reviews in courts ranging from Magistrates to High Court and Court of Appeal. Play a critical role in mentoring and developing legal colleagues and evolving the councils legal frameworks and precedents. Hybrid Working at H&F Council This role supports the Councils hybrid working policy and requires a minimum of 2 days per week working from the office. About You Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEX Fellow authorized to practice in England and Wales. Proven expertise in property law and planning matters, with local government experience preferred.
