The RoleWe are seeking experienced Frame & Truss Builders / Hammer Hands to join our production team. This hands-on role involves the fabrication and assembly of timber frames and trusses using both manual and automated tools. You'll be working alongside a skilled team in a fast-paced factory environment where accuracy, safety, and teamwork are key.
Key Responsibilities
* Read and interpret construction drawings and cutting lists
* Accurately assemble timber frames and roof trusses
* Use power tools, nail guns, saws, and other factory equipment safely
* Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
* Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
* Contribute to a safe and tidy work environment
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in a frame and truss manufacturing environment or as a hammer hand in the construction industry
* Ability to read and interpret building plans
* Strong understanding of basic carpentry and construction practices
* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
* Able to work well in a team and independently
* Commitment to health and safety practices
