Overview
Food and Beverage Assistant (Term-Time, 25 hours per week) – part-time role at the University of Bath. The role supports the day-to-day running of the catering operation, delivering a high standard of customer service.
Responsibilities
* Take customer orders, serve food and drink, and operate tills.
* Stock food stations and assist with cleaning and clearing tables and catering areas.
* Support smooth day-to-day catering operations during term time.
Schedule
The role is predominantly Monday to Friday, with shifts around 9.30am–2.30pm or 3.30pm–8.30pm (5 hours per day, 25 hours per week). Early morning, evening and weekend shifts may be required.
Training and Benefits
Training and uniforms are provided. Opportunities for development and progression are available. This role is eligible for Campus Services New Starter bonus (£1,000) and Campus Services Refer a Friend bonus. The bonus is pro rata for part-time positions.
About You
Candidates should have experience delivering excellent customer service in a customer-focused environment. Hospitality experience is advantageous. You should be a good team worker, calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
