Electronics Design Engineer - Power Bias Bedfordshire | On-site | Permanent I’m working with a well-established UK engineering manufacturer that’s looking to add an Electronics Design Engineer to its Engineering & R&D team. This is a hands-on role focused on the design, simulation, testing, and development of high-power electronic systems used in demanding, safety-critical applications for a global customer base. What you’ll be doing Designing and developing inverter and rectifier systems Taking concepts through to working prototypes Hands-on testing, bring-up, fault-finding, and validation Producing clear test reports and technical documentation Creating schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs Supporting production implementation and continuous improvement What they're looking for Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical / Electronic Engineering Experience with circuit design & simulation (SPICE, MATLAB, or similar) Confident working hands-on with oscilloscopes, power analysers, and test equipment Comfortable working safely with high voltage (up to 600V AC/DC) and high power systems Organised, methodical, and a strong problem-solver Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset Nice to have: Embedded systems, microcontrollers, PCB design/layout, or broader analogue/digital hardware experience.
