The Role: Join a leading specialist provider to protect and empower young people in Caerphilly by tackling domestic abuse and unhealthy relationships.
Location: Caerphilly, South Wales, UK
Salary: £24,222 per annum
Contract: Fixed Term to March 2026 (potential extension)
What You'll Do:
* Deliver essential domestic abuse awareness sessions in schools and youth settings.
* Educate on healthy relationships, consent, and gender-based violence (VAWDASV).
* Provide trauma-informed one-to-one support and risk assessments to young people who disclose abuse.
* Facilitate group work to build resilience and coping strategies.
* Champion youth-led initiatives and collaborate with multi-agency partners.
What You'll Need:
* Experience working with children and young people affected by domestic abuse.
* Knowledge of VAWDASV and effective safeguarding/risk assessment procedures.
* Strong group facilitation and one-to-one support skills.
* Full driving license and access to a vehicle are essential.
