Job Role & Requirements:
Are you an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Estimator with 1 to 3 years of experience, eager to take the next step in your career? Our client, a dynamic and innovative company in the construction industry, is seeking a motivated individual to join their team in Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities
* · Support the estimating process across a range of projects across Highways, Bridges, Civils, Infrastructure, Drainage and Water
* · Assist with detailed cost estimates and review plans/specifications
* · Maintain estimating databases working closely with the Cost Engineer
* · Collaborate with project managers and wider teams in a fast‑paced environment
Experience Required
* 1–3 years’ experience in an estimating or similar role
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Confident with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
* Great communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience with estimating software (nice to have, not essential)
