The role
Emanuel School is seeking a talented and organised individual to join our busy HR team on a fixed-term basis.
As a HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting recruitment across the school, overseeing the employee lifecycle and administration, and ensuring the smooth running of our HR department.
Your work will range from coordinating recruitment campaigns and maintaining compliance with safeguarding regulations, to providing HR support to managers and ensuring accurate payroll information. You will also oversee appraisals and probation processes, provide HR inductions for new staff and manage pre-employment checks.
This is fixed-term contract, covering a period of maternity leave from March 2026 until April 2027.
About you
You will be qualified to CIPD Level 3 or equivalent, with experience of managing a significant administrative workload, providing front-line HR advice and applying HR policies. Experience of working in the education sector, carrying out pre-employment checks and maintaining a single central register would be advantageous.
