As the KS1 Teacher, you will deliver engaging phonics-led lessons, develop early literacy and numeracy, and run targeted interventions. From January 2026, the KS1 Teacher will be part of a close team with experienced TAs and a leadership group that prioritises teacher development. KS1 Teacher – key responsibilities • Plan and deliver high-quality KS1 lessons as the KS1 Teacher. • Lead phonics and early reading sessions as the KS1 Teacher. • Use assessment to inform next steps as the KS1 Teacher, and work with parents to support progress. • Participate in school events and contribute to whole-school life as the KS1 Teacher. Person specification — KS1 Teacher • QTS and recent KS1 experience as a KS1 Teacher. • A nurturing but ambitious practitioner as a KS1 Teacher. • Excellent communication with parents and colleagues as a KS1 Teacher. This Full-Time KS1 Teacher role starts January 2026. Pre-term induction will begin prior to January 2026, and the Full-Time KS1 Teacher will be supported throughout the term starting January 2026.
