Design & Technology (DT) Teaching Roles (Future Opportunities)

Typical Responsibilities May Include:
1. Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4 (and potentially KS5)
2. Planning and delivering engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons
3. Supporting students to develop creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities
4. Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development
5. Maintaining safe workshop/classroom environments and following health & safety procedures
6. Creating positive, inclusive learning spaces
7. Working collaboratively with teaching teams and school leadership
8. Promoting high standards of learning, behaviour, and safeguarding
(Exact duties will vary depending on the school and role.)
We’d Love to Hear From You If You Have:
9. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification
10. Strong subject knowledge in DT (any specialism welcomed)
11. A passion for practical learning and creative education
12. Confident classroom management and communication skills
13. A commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and safeguarding
