We are working with a Global Manufacturer of High Precision Medical Devices based in the Salford Quays area, who are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer OUTSIDE IR35 for an initial 3 month contract.
The role will be at least 3 days on site a week and will require someone with experience in the following areas. Ideally we are looking for someone to start at the end of July.
1. Design for high vacuum systems. (sealing methods and outgassing)
2. Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and communicate effectively at all levels.
3. Precision engineering within a small scale manufacturing or prototyping context. (including, 5 axis CNC, EDM, Grinding, boring, wire erosion, chemi-etching, plating, plating and surface treatment, CMM).
4. Extensive knowledge of limits, fits and tolerance standards.
5. Knowledge of engineering materials and surface finish standards.
6. Experience of Solidworks and Creo/Pro-Engineer mechanical design software.
