Job Description: Procurement Manager at TSG UK

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team, lead procurement activities, and ensure alignment with our strategic goals while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a long-term procurement strategy in collaboration with the UK business and TSG Group companies.
* Collaborate with the UK finance team to develop, refine, and automate procurement processes.
* Engage with stakeholders to assess risks, review purchasing strategies, and identify cost-saving opportunities across TSG UK’s growth areas, including EV Charge, Gas, and Solar.
* Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness targets are met.
* Lead contractual negotiations with strategic suppliers.
* Manage forecasts, inventories, and maintain accurate records of costs and performance.
* Provide monthly updates on technology changes to senior leadership.
* Produce and analyze supply chain reports to identify trends and provide feedback to management.
* Ensure compliance with procurement laws and regulations.
* Support, train, and mentor supply chain staff, leading a lean organization.
* Lead collaboration with sub-contractor managers and logistics teams.
* Coordinate with the Group Purchasing function and assist in RFQ preparations.
* Identify areas for continuous improvement to enhance performance and results.
About You:
You are a strategic thinker with sound judgment and a strong operational focus. Your procurement experience has honed your influencing and negotiation skills, and you excel at building relationships with diverse stakeholders. You thrive in dynamic environments and adapt your approach to meet changing business needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Purchasing qualification (CIPS Level 3 or equivalent), or extensive relevant experience.
* Strong mechanical/electrical engineering knowledge and/or a business administration degree.
* Significant leadership experience in procurement within corporate, professional services, or project environments.
* Industry experience in power, renewables, e-mobility, or construction sectors.
* Proven contract negotiation skills in challenging supply chain conditions.
* Ability to multitask effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
* Strong planning abilities with a systematic approach to reporting and process design.
