Position: The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of clinical negligence claims from initial instruction through to resolution, including settlement or trial where required. You will play a key role in supporting clients who have suffered harm as a result of medical negligence, ensuring they receive clear guidance and high-quality legal representation throughout the claims process. The role will involve conducting thorough investigations, reviewing medical records, liaising with medical experts, and assessing the viability of potential claims. You will also be responsible for drafting key legal documents including letters of claim, witness statements, pleadings, and schedules of loss. You will work closely with colleagues to progress matters efficiently, negotiating settlements through pre-action protocols and alternative dispute resolution where appropriate, while preparing cases for litigation and ensuring all court deadlines and procedural requirements are met. Key Details: The successful candidate will join a well-established and reputable firm offering a competitive salary of £32,000 to £50,000 depending on experience.
