We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking groundworker for a Major Civils / Construction client of ours based in Bristol. As a groundworker you will be responsible for installing drainage systems, foundations and other essential structures ensuring that they function efficiently and effectively.

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Ganger/Supervisor to support a major civil engineering project in Bristol (BS13). This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable contractor on a long-term infrastructure scheme.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervising groundworkers and site operatives
• Allocating daily tasks and ensuring productivity targets are met
• Delivering toolbox talks and daily site briefings
• Ensuring all operatives follow RAMS and health & safety procedures
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings
• Overseeing groundworks including drainage, ducting, road formation, and concrete works
• Liaising with Site Manager and reporting progress
• Ensuring work is completed to specification and programme
Requirements
• Previous experience as a Ganger or Site Supervisor
• Valid SSSTS/SMSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
• Must have EUSR
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Groundworks / Civil Engineering background
• Ability to read drawings and manage teams effectively
